Harrison Carpenter-Neuhaus (he/him), Program Manager
Harrison Carpenter-Neuhaus is a seasoned communications strategist with experience across traditional and broadcast media, social media, and digital marketing. Throughout his career, Harrison has been proud to focus his work on key issues from immigration to civic engagement and climate advocacy.
Prior to joining Sunstone, Harrison worked at the former strategic climate communications firm Climate Nexus, where he supported national campaigns around key clean energy priorities including zero-emissions vehicles, mass transit and transportation policy, and offshore wind deployment in collaboration with partners across the U.S. Harrison has also supported social justice and civic engagement campaigns through his work in the New York City Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs and the City's 2020 Census organizing campaign. Harrison is always eager to connect policy issues to their implications for everyday people, and excited about the ability of strategic communications campaigns to mobilize movements for change.
Harrison has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University, where he studied history, literature, and philosophy (and, most importantly, met his wife). Outside of work, Harrison is also an avid baker, climate organizer, and skateboarder. Harrison is based in New York, where he lives with his wife and two cats, Sandwich and Pickle.
